Finance Forum, the brain child of Prof. Anil Gor and guided by Prof. Sameer Lakhani, is well supported by our Director, Prof. P.L. Arya. It is one of the most vibrant forums at NLDIMSR and acts as a catalyst which keeps alive the euphoria of Finance going around the Institute. It holds various seminars by inviting successful personalities from the Corporate World. Under this Forum, the students get a chance to practically test their finance quotient by participating in events like Portfolio Management, analyzing and presenting Balance Sheets to CFOs, Budget Analysis, ET Quiz and many more.  The forum also hosts Arthmanthan, Vishleshan – an intra-collegiate event and Mulyankan – a National Level B-School Paper Presentation Competition and Seminar.

This is the 14^th year that NLDIMSR’s Finance Forum is hosting “Mulyankan”, a pan-India competition wherein every year, the theme is selected on the backdrop of contemporary economic situation and entries are invited from top notch colleges across the country.

In view of turbulent global economic scenario, which give the companies an added advantage in their competitive business. We have therefore, taken up "Evaluation of Outbound Acquisitions by an Indian Companies" as a theme of our Annual Finance Seminar and National Level B-School Competition : Mulyankan 2012

Based on the theme, the topic for paper presentation competition  would be held on October 12, 2012 and the topic for seminar is “Cross Border Acquisitions”, which would be held on October 13, 2012. The seminar would be delivered by the honchos of Corporate World which will give the students, an opportunity to enhance their knowledge about cross border acquisitions for strategic advantages, which the corporates get.
