N.L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research was
formed under the aegis of N.L Dalmia Education Society by Late Shri. Niranjan
Lal Dalmia, a visionary, philanthropist and an industrialist.
Established in 1995, N.L Dalmia Institute commenced its
academic programmes in the year 1997. Currently it offers the following 2 year
full time courses:
- Master of management studies (MMS) approved by All India Council of TechnicalEducation (AICTE) and affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) approved by AICTE.
In the year 2003, the institute commenced its three year
Part- time Programmes (MMM, MFM, MHRDM) affiliated to the University of Mumbai
for the benefit of working professionals.
The institute has been approved as a research centre by the
University of Mumbai and Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University to
conduct research in the area of Management leading to Doctoral Degree (Ph.D).
The institute believes that management teaching should be
an optimal blend of theory and practice. It therefore, recruits full time
faculty who hold Post Graduate Degrees from leading Management Institutes
followed by rich work experience in reputed business/ industrial organization.
The institute offers a state-of-art infrastructure and a
very congenial informal environment for its students to learn and grow as
persons and professionals. Over 2000 alumini are marching ahead successfully in
their careers and are carving a niche for themselves in India Inc.
